What’s on your summer reading list?

June 23rd, 2011

With summer in full swing, some of us at Zoka Orthodontics wanted to remind all our patients about the importance of reading. Sure it’s easy to keep putting off reading this time of year, but reading during the summer is a vital step in brain development and warding off the dreaded “summer slide.” Plus, it's fun!

Today, we thought we’d ask: What's on YOUR summer reading list? What are some of your all-time favorites?

Here are several summer reading suggestions from Dr. Ray Zoka and our team:

"Every Bone Tells a Story:Hominin Discoveries, Deductions, and Debates," by Jill Rubalcaba

"Spies of Mississippi: The True Story of the Spy Network that Tried to Destroy the Civil Rights Movement," by Rick Bowers

"Hush," by Eishes Chayil

"The pillars of the earth," by Ken Follett

"Madame Tussaud: A Novel of the French Revolution," by Michelle Moran

"Conversations with Myself," by Nelson Mandela

"Poke the Box," by Seth Godin

"The Reading Promise: My Father and the Books We Shared," by Alice Ozma

"Stolen," by Lucy Christopher

Happy reading! Be sure to share with us your summer picks or your all-time favorites on our Facebook page!
