Recently we started a patient referral program where patients that refer another patient that gets started with orthodontic treatment receive $50.00 Visa card with our logo on it.

Every patient gets a T-shirt at the beginning of their treatment. Patients that wear their T-shirt to any of  their appointments receive a gift certificate to Baskin- Robbins.

My practice supports the local schools and athletic programs above and beyond in other orthodontic practice in Camarillo. That is why we are the most successful practice in Camarillo.

Adults are very focused on what they see wrong with their teeth. Throughout the years I have learned to only address their concerns also. They are mostly concerned about alignment of their front teeth which for a long time before Invisalign I was treating with Bloore Aligners.

Now most adults are being treated with Invisalign and because Align technology has done such a good job of marketing their product, most adults already know what they can expect and are ready to go.

All adults are very excited about about the new technologies and very appreciative of the out the outcome dentally but also the weight loss that adults patients experience.

With winter sports close to wrapping up and spring sports right around the corner, it’s a great time to remind the athletes that visit Zoka Orthodontics to protect their pearly whites while participating in sports and other physical activities. After all, children, high-school athletes and adults have more than 5,000,000 teeth knocked out annually, according to the National Youth Sports Safety Foundation.

Recently, Dr. Zoka was asked about the importance of mouth guards:

"I do give my patients a loose fitting mouth guard," Dr. Zoka said. "They can also buy one from an athletic equipment store, like Sports Authorities or Big 5. We do not recommend molding the guard by warming it in a bowl of hot water until their teeth have been aligned and they are wearing elastics to correct their bite."
